Supervisor – Timmins Area

Job Title: Supervisor

Location: 150 Jaguar Drive, Timmins       

As a supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of employees to ensure that they meet their goals and objectives. You will oversee day-to-day operations and work with team members to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards. The Supervisor will report to a manager or senior management and will be responsible for managing and leading a team of non-union employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of non-union employees, ensuring that they work efficiently and effectively to meet their goals and objectives.
  • Monitor the team’s progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing measures to address any issues or concerns.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.
  • Ensure that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard of quality.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate with senior management and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on team performance and progress.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging teamwork and open communication.
  • Manage and resolve conflicts and issues within the team.
  • Monitor compliance with company policies and procedures, ensuring that all team members adhere to these standards.
  • Ensure that approval of Timecards is completed daily.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
  • Ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their goals and objectives.

Preferred:

  • 5-7 years of experience as a supervisor within the construction industry
